Description
Introducing HEL's latest product offering – Full CNC Machined Master Cylinders.
They manufacture all metal parts of the master cylinder (including levers) in-house on our suite of Brother and Star CNC machines from solid billets of 6082-T6 aluminium.
Each master cylinder body takes an hour of machining time to remove the material to their exact standards with the bore measured automatically in cycle.
Lever Ratios
Each master cylinder is individually finished and assembled by hand and is available with a choice of levers with different ratios:
Lever Ratios
16 – Clutch master cylinders or single front brake (smaller CC models) |
18 – More lever travel and 'feel' on twin caliper systems (larger CC models) |
19 – Average lever travel but harder feel – a good all rounder |
20 – Less lever travel and the 'hardest feel' on the lever |
Additional
HEL Performance Master Cylinders include three anodised black levers at your choice of ratio.
They decided to move away from adjustable ratios as they prefer less moving parts and from feedback received, most riders stick with a single ratio once they've found what suits them.
